Posters, Trailers and DVD Covers

All the products link together with the font used, title, images and housestyle to create a brand identity. For example on the Dark Knight products the same font is used for the title and all the rest of the writing. This is so the house style is recognisable and people know that each of the products belong to the same film. On both the DVD cover and  poster similar/same images are used, both use low key lighting (as well as the trailer). This is to get across the message that the film is quite dark and mysterious. The poster and the trailer are set in place to encourage people to watch the film, so they need to be eye catching and appealing. If people want to watch the film after watching the film trailer they may go out and buy the DVD. This means the DVD cover must match and be just as appealing as the other two products.
